Philosophy

Vulnerability is not a personal choice—it is a design flaw of our social systems. I focus on intentionally redesigning these systems so that health, purpose, and freedom aren’t luxuries for the few, but the standard for the many.

Progress doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens when we invest in the “fine print” of humanity: elevating women and youth through education and empowerment.

For me, public health is more than a profession—it’s a predetermined factor. It’s my "One Health” approach to a world that deserves to be whole and more-than-livable.

System

I don’t just do “public health”—I design systems that honor the human experience. My approach combines the researcher’s high-level rigor with the community architect’s heart. Here’s how everything comes to life.

  • Most health challenges are symptoms of deeper, systemic failures. I look past the immediate crisis to find the root causes hidden in the policy, environment, or social structures. We’ll heal the system from the ground.

  • The best solutions come from the community facing these system failures. I ensure that those most impacted are the ones leading the way. A solution that is co-created with community is the one that sticks.

  • A vision is only as good as its execution. I handle the precision work to keep projects measurable and on track. I ensure the details from regulatory alignment to community reporting are handled with an eye for excellence so social impact is undeniable.

  • Let’s think big to create lasting health equity. I enjoy finding creative ways for different sectors to collaborate, including using technological advancements to make wellness accessible to every one, every where, every time.

  • Programs rarely fail because of bad data. They fail because of poor communication and lack of cultural inclusivity. Whether I’m facilitating a high-stakes meeting or navigating complex work cultures, I ensure every voice is heard and the mission remains a focus.

I bridge the gap between high-level data and human-level impact. Need a strategist to map a new initiative or an operator to streamline your movement? I bring grit, grace, and groundedness to get it done.

Origins

I’m a 1.5 generation Filipino American eldest daughter navigating a third culture.

By day, I lead systems change at the intersection of housing and health. By night, I’m a builder of dreamers. I am ever-evolving—whether I’m volunteering at the community center, proofreading with APA precision, or advising on students’ future plans.

I’m Philippine born, but California grown. And while endless days of sun are pleasant, I’ve warmed up to the shamelessly California -berrr months.

After hours and in between, I enjoy…

When you’ve worked hard, and done well, and walked through that doorway of opportunity, you do not slam it shut behind you…you reach back and you give other folks the same chances that helped you succeed.
